In the spirit of Jamaican mento bands, always on the move, this group of roving natives is well known for their highly interactive presentation.

The Tropicals appear daily at Central Florida theme parks and maybe the most requested corporate convention act in this market.




Back in 1989, the concept of the strolling reggae band was first introduced to Central Florida. The Tropicals made their debut as a trio featuring acoustic guitar, percussion and “pan around the neck” (steel drums).

In the spirit of Jamaican mento bands, always on the move, this group of roving natives is well known for their highly interactive presentation. Audience participation is an important feature of the show in the form of conga lines and sing-alongs with old favorites such as “Marianne”, “Matilda”, and the always-popular, “Day-O”.
